Today, the restaurant world is more complex than ever before, and the most successful establishments are those that combine design, creation and strategy in one business proposal, in short, the product.

That is why when we decided to design this course focused on restaurant business entrepreneurship , we wanted our students to feel that they are constantly looking towards the future, and that they understand that the only way to lead the future is by designing it themselves, in other words, by innovating.

This program offers you a 360º perspective, from ideation to post-inauguration, preparing you for the goal: "I am going to create my own restaurant". Whether you have a clear project or just a vague idea, this program will open your eyes to new ways of seeing the restaurant business and, above all, how customers will view your proposal in the coming years. This program is a journey through all the stages you will have to go through, with a particular focus on customers’ behavior, the latest business models and, of course, the digital world that will condition success.

One of the things that will surprise you most about this Enterpreneurchef Program is its approach. Don't expect a course that floods you with information that you won't be able to manage. This course activates your knowledge in a different way: it teaches you to investigate and solve the problems you encounter whilst you design and create. Almost every subject includes a practical workshop, that's 11 workshops in total, in which you will work as a team to apply the knowledge you have acquired to real-life situations.

This approach also includes truly innovative perspectives, such as treating clients from an anthropological point of view, in which you will learn about both human motivations and behavior, so that you can design your restaurant accordingly.

This course teaches you how to create and the product and market strategy. You will use both digital and traditional tools, and by the end of the course, you will have acquired knowledge and a novel language that will give you a competitive edge when it comes to launching your idea.

You will bear witness to examples of successful business models from the hands of their creators and owners, from a burger restaurant to renowned Michelin-Star establishments.

You will learn the strengths and weaknesses of each and every one. You will accompany experts on a journey you will never forget, visiting more projects and delving deeper into the motivations and stories behind these legendary temples of gastronomy.

This course will open your eyes to new models, new ways of understanding what a restaurant can be and, above all, help you see the future before anyone else.

The CIB admission process

Getting accepted by the CIB

At the CIB, we receive thousands of admissions requests, but only a certain number are accepted.

Candidate profiles are determined before each new enrollment period, and the Acceptance Committee strives to comply with the established criteria.

Only a handful of candidates pass the final phase.

    Request information
    Send us your request and an advisor will call you as soon as possible to talk you through the process.

    Send in your admission form
    Once you have spoken with the advisor, they will give you access to the admission form and advise you on how to complete it correctly. We want to know about you, how you live, how you think, what you're doing and what's important to you.

    Assessment interview
    If we think you meet our criteria, you will go onto the interview phase. You will be able to arrange it for a time that suits you. We look at your attitude and inclination towards creativity and innovation as well as your entrepreneurial spirit and life experience. We believe in people, not CVs. That's why you should go for it.

    Acceptance Committee
    The Acceptance Committee will look over your application on the Monday following your interview, and we will notify you of the result by email that same day.
