An unforgettable experience
Students of the KLD · Kitchen Leadership Diploma will take part in a unique Explorer experience at the CIB: a mountain survival challenge designed to push them beyond their comfort zone and confront them with real-life challenges. Far from the kitchen and daily routine, they will find themselves in a demanding and ever-changing environment where uncertainty and shared effort become essential to the learning process.
They will be required to organise themselves, communicate with clarity, make decisions under pressure and look after one another in order to move forward as a team. Survival is not an individual pursuit, but a collective one, and each student will discover the importance of coordination, trust, delegation and accountability. Just as in a professional kitchen, success will depend on attitude and the ability to adapt to the unexpected.
This Explorer will transform the way they lead and the way they lead themselves, fostering a deeper awareness of their impact on the team, a resilient mindset and a more human approach to leadership. An intense, lasting experience that reinforces the essential qualities of a head chef: authentic leadership, sound decision-making and teamwork at the highest level.
